We supply and install large Christmas trees to Heritage & Cultural Institutions across the UK. Our installations are designed to deliver a visually striking display that elevates the visitor experience.
Working closely with Heritage & Cultural Institutions, we regularly operate within historic buildings and understand their constraints. Our installation methods are designed to protect historic fabric and flooring, ensuring compliance with conservation requirements.
Carefully positioned trees enhance the visitor experience without disrupting the site. We collaborate with site managers to ensure installations complement the setting and respect both operational needs and historical significance.
Royal Albert Hall
Royal Albert Hall required a large-scale outdoor Christmas installation that would enhance its iconic exterior while respecting the building’s historic significance. The objective was to deliver a visually striking yet sensitive installation.
This was a challenging instalation due to location and distance from road. To preserve the road surface a lightweight crane was required and protective matting placed on the floor. In addition, not hitting the incredibly culturally significant statue was a critical factor.
Tower of London
The Tower of London is one of the UK’s most iconic landmarks, requiring strict conservation and health & safety measures. As a globally recognised heritage site, the installation needed to enhance the setting without compromising its historic integrity.
The installation needed to be carried out within restricted access hours, minimising disruption to daily operations and visitors, while maintaining a high-quality, traditional aesthetic appropriate to the site. The Christmas tree was to be decorated by their own in-house installation team.
Westminster Abbey
As one of the most significant religious and historic landmarks in the UK, the installation needed to enhance the setting during the festive period while fully respecting its heritage and operational requirements.
The external installation required placement within an existing tree pit, this requiring precise planning and coordination to ensure suitability, safety, and correct dimensions.
Middle Temple
Set along the River Thames in a high-footfall central London location, the site combines significant heritage value with active daily use by barristers, staff, and visitors. The objective was to deliver a traditional, high-quality festive scheme.
The installation needed to preserve the integrity and appearance of a heritage courtyard, while also extending consistently across multiple internal rooms with different uses and layouts. Access restrictions, careful handling requirements, and the need to avoid disruption to daily activity added further pressure.
The Piece Hall
The Piece Hall required a carefully designed Christmas installation to enhance its iconic courtyard during the festive season. As a Grade I listed heritage site and major cultural destination, the objective was to deliver a visually impactful yet sensitive installation
Public visibility and scrutiny meant the final result needed to meet high expectations, both aesthetically and operationally. As there were no socket, a bespoke stand was built to order.
Landmark Arts Centre
Landmark Arts Centre is a vibrant cultural venue serving the communities of Richmond and Kingston, hosting a wide range of performances, exhibitions, and seasonal events. An installation was required to enhance its exterior presence and support its events.
The tree had to create a strong visual impact externally while remaining sympathetic to the building’s character. In addition, the installation needed to support high visitor footfall during events, requiring a safe, secure setup in a public-facing space. Timing was also critical, with delivery and installation needing to align with the venue’s Christmas programme and key dates.
