Royal Exchange London, delivered in partnership with Polar Bear Live, required a large-scale Christmas tree installation to support its festive programme. As an iconic central London destination, the objective was to deliver a high-impact, visually striking installation that would enhance the space while aligning with a wider production-led environment.
Working within an event production framework introduced multiple operational complexities. The installation needed to be delivered within a tight, fixed timeframe, with a strict morning schedule requiring full completion within a few hours.
As a subcontracted delivery partner, it was essential to maintain consistent quality and reliability, supporting the production company while protecting their relationship with the end client. The project also involved multiple stakeholders, often with limited visibility of the original brief, requiring flexibility and responsiveness.

A 35ft Norway Spruce Christmas tree was delivered and installed as a central festive feature within the Royal Exchange.
Given the scale of the tree, installation was carried out using a HIAB crane, ensuring safe and efficient positioning within the restricted timeframe. The team worked to a tightly managed schedule, arriving early and completing installation within the allocated morning window.
A full end-to-end service was provided, including delivery, installation, and post-season takedown, collection, and recycling, ensuring a seamless experience for both the production partner and end client.
