Newham Council required a multi-location Christmas tree installation programme across the borough to support community engagement, festive events, and town centre activity. With a strong focus on bringing residents together through seasonal celebrations and switch-on events, the brief was to deliver a high-impact, coordinated rollout across multiple sites.
Delivering across seven locations introduced significant logistical and operational complexity. Each site required careful coordination to ensure consistency in design while accommodating different layouts, power access, and local requirements.
As with all council-led projects, the programme needed to meet strict health & safety, compliance, and risk management standards, alongside procurement and approval processes. In addition, installations had to align with multiple switch-on events across the borough, requiring precise timing and scheduling.
The scale of the rollout meant managing numerous elements simultaneously, from tree sizes and decorations to installation teams and infrastructure, while ensuring a safe, seamless, and highly visible outcome.
