What we're all about
Pines and Needles was founded by brothers Sam and Josh Lyle back in 1995. It all started when the youngsters (then aged 15 and 13) came up with the brainwave
of loading an old horsebox with pine trees from their family farm and taking the long journey down to London. After a few years the kilted crew grew in size, the Internet beckoned, and the rest, as they say, is history.
To get a completely objective critique of their business efforts, Sam and Josh went to an expert who knew everything about everything - Rachel - their big sister and harshest critic. If they could get the thumbs up from her they knew they were on the right track...

At Pines and Needles it’s guaranteed we have a Christmas Tree to suit all tastes and requirements. Choose from the traditional smell and shape of a Norway Spruce, the great needle retention of the Nordman Fir (often called the non-drop Christmas Tree), or the bushiness of the Potted Fraser Fir for those who prefer a living tree. Alternatively select an artificial tree from our great range if you don’t want to vacuum any needles at all. Our trees start at 3 feet tall and go up to an enormous 20-30 feet!
